Hi, I'm Areez!

Areez Afsar Khan is an entrepreneur, an independent technology consultant, and a brand strategist from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has over twelve years of relevant industry expertise as an entrepreneur and has worked with significant local companies to develop a multitude of engaging yet distinctive business models, customer experience designs, printing innovations, and campaign activations for his clients.

Areez Afsar Khan is the founder and the Managing Director of Valiant Tech Limited, a software development company based in Dhaka. He is also a Director of CropRocket Limited, which is an innovative crop seed marketing company having state-of-the-art testing laboratories. He has also co-founded a number of other businesses, including a travel agency Shuktara Travels, and a digital marketing firm with his spouse and has been serving as an IT consultant for several government agencies.

Areez is well-known in his field for organizing some of the country's largest youth-engagement events, including app development and computer programming contests for Prothom-Alo, ICT Division, Microsoft Bangladesh, ACM-ICPC and as well as the initiator and organizer of Cybernauts, nations largest PC gaming competition. In addition, he was involved with the Rajshahi Royals, the champion team of the BPL 2019 T20 Cricket Tournament, on brand development and patronizing partnerships.

As a Microsoft-certified IT professional with tech-industry experience and an academic background in brand and sales marketing, Areez has a strong understanding of "what works" for a project. He embraces developing disruptive tech products and creative dynamics more than anything, and he always pays strong attention to detail when working on projects of any scale.

He is also dedicated to his inherited rubber plantation, horticultural, and forestry businesses in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

Areez was born on November 4, 1990 in Chattogram into an affluent family, and is married to Syeda Sabera Arefin (Juthika), a businesswoman from Dhaka.
